One of the most memorable ways to take it all in is by riding the Bluebird Express Chairlift, which glides above the treetops for panoramic views of the Green Mountains awash in reds, oranges, and golds.

It’s one of the best ways to enjoy these sweeping, unobstructed views of Southern Vermont. From the comfort of your bubble chairlift, you’ll be treated to views of the Somerset Reservoir, Mount Monadnock, and on a clear day, maybe even Mount Washington.

  6. The Mount Snow Vermont chairlift runs Fridays through Sundays from mid-June to mid-October. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the Clocktower ticket window on the day of your visit.
  7. Mountain biking is another great warm-weather activity at Mount Snow. The season opens at the beginning of July. Bike rentals are available at Mount Snow Sports at Main Base. With Bike Haul, take the chairlift up, then ride down the trails to the base.
  8. After your hike or chairlift ride, enjoy the Grand Summit Music Series. Every Saturday, from 6 PM to 9 PM, you can grab a drink, play some games, and relax to live music on the Grand Summit patio.
